First Day of Preschool

I can't believe this day has come already!  Because she has a September birthday, Emersen still has a year and a half until she begins Kindergarten, so I was going to save some money and wait until next year to put her in preschool and just do my own school stuff with her this year.  But let's face it, homeschooling takes a LOT of time and planning, and my good intentions just weren't cutting it (and sometimes it's hard to take instructions from your own mom).  She's so smart already and really wanted to go to school.  She also really loves to play with other kids, and I'm not very good at planning play dates for her.  So off to school she goes!

After we observed some classes, she was so excited to start school at Miss Karen's.  She was a little disappointed at first because she thought she was going to ride the bus to school by herself (the elementary school bus stops at our neighbor's house).  Even though she won't tell me much about what they did at school, she seemed to enjoy it because she's excited to go again.

My little sweetheart is growing up so fast!
