A Winter Wedding: Photo Overload

My younger brother Jarom married a sweet girl in December.  BreAnne is from Orem and teaches high school in Nephi.  I think they met and started dating last May.  Once they decided to get married, they went for it and planned a quick wedding.  Sounds familiar . . . We love having Bre in the family.  She fits in, tolerates our quirks, complements Jarom, and is adored by Emersen.  Even before they were engaged, Emersen always asked about "Jarom and Bre" together.  She even had pretend phone conversations with her.  I'm lucky to have another great sister-in-law.

They were married in the Draper Temple mid-December.  It was a beautiful sunny day but very very cold.  Lunch at Thanksgiving Point followed where they showed a video, gave speeches, and cut the cake.  Daniel kindly offered to watch all the kids at our house while the rest of us went to the luncheon.  So sweet of him.

They had an open house in Oak City the beginning of January.  My mom scoured the internet and pinterest for months gathering decoration ideas.  Annie and I helped a little, but she really did most of the work and planning.  It turned out really nice.  She received a lot of compliments on the decorations.  Refreshments included donuts, hot chocolate, and cider.  Isn't that a fun idea!  Daniel and I tried to take some photos of the event, but the lighting was so bad and our camera knowledge so little that most of them didn't turn out very good.  Oh well.

I like this picture of Bre and her mom.

Bentley was totally flirting with the serving girls.  He climbed up between them and smiled at them and laughed and did it all over again.

Emersen found some new friends too (Bre's cousins).

These boys found someone's iPhone to play with.

Emersen was concerned that Bre wasn't wearing her shoes, so she helped her put them back on.  Haha.

The painted skates were my only contribution to the decor.

My grandparents made the trip up from Enterprise, so we took the rare opportunity of getting a picture with them.

So happy together!
