Daniel turned 29 last weekend! Emersen helped me pick out a present for him and wrap them, so she was really excited about his birthday. All week she kept asking if it was daddy's birthday yet and pointing out his presents to him. It was nice that his birthday was on a Saturday so that he could be home with us. All he wanted to do was relax. We did get to go out on a dinner date the night before. We went to the New Yorker again because we had more gift certificates, so our $100 meal was free. We actually took a picture this time.
Daniel's parents also sent him some birthday money a couple weeks earlier, so Daniel treated our family to dinner out twice in those two weeks. We went to Wendy's first and then to Taco Time. The kids loved it. And we loved not having to clean up after them!
On Daniel's birthday, we had his most favorite Tortellini and Meatball Soup.
Then Emersen and her friend Jack helped me put candles on his cheesecake. Bentley wanted in on the fun as well. They helped blow them out too.
It was fun to celebrate! There are so many things I love about Daniel, but mostly I love that he's mine. Happy Birthday, my love!
