November News

One of Bentley's favorite things to do is wear shoes, doesn't matter whose shoes they are.  He is always bringing me his shoes and socks to put on for him.

Emersen came home from her grandparents' house with this new "thinking" face.

Bentley is a climber.  He tries to get on top of everything.  He discovered how to maneuver chairs to climb up and get what he wants.  He also figured out how to climb up onto the barstools.  Now nothing is safe.  He also now prefers to walk up and down the stairs instead of crawling.  Unless he's in a hurry.

We bought a new umbrella and Emersen played with it for days.  She even takes it to nap with.  She likes to pretend she's Mary Poppins, one of her current favorite movies.

These kids often play together really well.  She tease each other, chase each other, make up games together, and feed off each other's silliness.  They are really fun to watch.

Emersen still thoroughly enjoys her dance class and always talks about the other girls in her class.  Her favorite dance move is the "ballerina march."

Bentley boy is quite the joyful little guy.

Emersen loves her dolls and stuffed animals and takes very good care of them.  Her puppy was sick this day.

At the city library story time, she made this cute turkey necklace out of pipe cleaners and a bead.  I love watching her at story time because she is so interested and involved.  Much different from when I would take her last spring.  She's growing up.

With daddy busy with final projects, the kids and I rented "Winnie the Pooh" and had a movie night with popcorn.  Emersen loves that Pooh Bear loves honey because she does too!

One day Emersen came into the kitchen wearing these sunglasses and tapping a stick in front of her like she was blind.  I'm not sure where she learned that.

We had my cousin Monica's family over for family night.  The kids play great together; I don't know why we don't do it more often.

Emersen wanted me to take a picture of her with all her jewelry on.
